You’ve likely heard about the FDA’s recent ban on flavored vape pods for vaping devices like JUUL, Phix, Blu and other vaping devices that require replacement pods but there’s a lot of misinformation out there so we thought we’d get you the facts on the ban.
- All flavored vape pod refills will be banned from sale and distribution after January 31st, 2020. That means that you have 1 week from TODAY to stock up before we take them off of our shelves but we’re honestly hoping we sell them first.
- Tobacco and menthol flavored vape pod refills WILL NOT be part of the ban. If you’re a fan of tobacco and menthol flavored pods then good news, you’ll still be able to buy them. Overland Park Vape Shop still plans on stocking tobacco and menthol flavored vape pods as long as our customers want them and we’ll keep them at the everyday low prices vapers have come to know us for.
- Disposable pod vapes WILL NOT be part of the ban no matter what flavor they are. It may seem silly but the FDA is not including disposable pods like Stig, Fogg, Puff Bar, Bidi Stick, or Rip Stick in its ban. We stock a wide variety of flavored disposable pods and there’s likely one that you’ll like.
Many disposable vape pod companies are currently adding more and more flavors to their selection as vapers demand a new avenue for flavored vaping and Overland Park Vape Shop will continue to add new ones as they become available. Disposable pods cannot be refilled so once they’re done, you throw them away and grab another one. They offer a very similar vaping experience to other refillable pod vaping devices. - Flavored vape juice/e-liquids WILL NOT be part of the ban. These types of e-liquids are commonly used in open tank vaporizers or mods and come in hundreds of flavors and nicotine levels including 0% which is great if you’re trying to kick vaping for good.
Flavored vape liquids like these for mods (or open tank vaping devices) will not be part of the FDA’s ban (yet). Overland Park Vape Shop hand picks only the highest quality vape juices for our store and we add new ones all of the time.
